COURSE CONTENT

  • Hands-on cadaver sessions and theoretical lectures
  • Cadaver sessions includes demonstration of 3 lumbar techniques. Each attendee will practice under guidance of table instructors:
    • Posterolateral technique
    • Transforaminal technique
    • Interlaminar technique
  • The instructors will be fixed to tables, the participants will rotate tables to learn all three techniques
  • Theoretical aspects of the endoscopy in the lecture format, early in the morning and afternoon sessions.
  • This theoretical sessions will take place in a classroom and will include:
    • Patient selection for each technique: the best (and worst) indications for each technique
    • Steps by step description of each surgical techniquee
    • Complication management
    • Example/demonstrative cases

  • 3 tables, all equipped with formalin fixed cadavers, C-Arms, Endoscopy systems & Towers
  • At each table: 2 instructors, 6 participants. Instructors are fixed to the tables

  • Rotation of those groups on the tables
